Stewart Bryant, Routing Area
Stewart Bryant is currently co-director of the IETF Routing Area. He is author of RFCs 3985, 4385, 4591, 4928, 5101, 5102, 5317, 5586, 5659, 5704, 5714, 5715, 5921, 5960, 5994. His main areas of technical interest are MPLS Transport Profile, pseudowires, IP fast re-route and network convergence. Stewart also works on the problem of precision time and frequency distribution in packet networks, and was member of the IEEE1588 design committee. Stewart is the IETF Liaison to the ITU on MPLS technology. Stewart has a PhD in Laser Physics from Imperial College and an MBA from University of Warwick. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology. Stewart works in the Research and Advanced Development Group at Cisco Systems.
