    1. The minutes of the September 7 Teleconference were approved. Steve
    to place in public archives.

    2. The IESG approved publication of Integrated Services in the
    Presence of Compressible Flows <draft-ietf-intserv-compress-02.txt>
    as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement.

    3. The IESG approved publication of the following Internet-Drafts as
    Proposed Standards:

    o Format of the RSVP DCLASS Object
    <draft-ietf-issll-dclass-01.txt>
    o Specification of the Null Service Type
    <draft-ietf-issll-nullservice-00.txt>

    In the same action, A Framework For Integrated Services Operation
    Over Diffserv Networks <draft-ietf-issll-diffserv-rsvp-05.txt> was
    approved for publication as an Informational RFC.

    4. The IESG tentatively approved publication of Registration of
    parityfec MIME types <draft-ietf-avt-fecmime-01.txt> as a Proposed
    Standard with an RFC Editor Note. Allison to draft and Ned to
    review. If all ok, Steve to send announcement.

    5. The IESG tentatively approved publication of The audio/mpeg Type
    <draft-nilsson-audio-mpeg-03.txt> as a Proposed Standard with an
    RFC Editor Note. Allison to draft and Ned to review. If all ok,
    Steve to send announcement.

    6. The IESG approved creation of the IP Storage [ips] Working Group in
    the Transport Area. Steve to send announcement.

    7. The IESG approved publication of Pre-Spirits Implementations of
    PSTN-initiated Services <draft-ietf-spirits-implementations-02.txt>
    as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement.

    8. The IESG approved publication of Overview of 2000 IAB Wireless
    Internetworking Workshop <draft-iab-wirelessws-01.txt> as an
    Informational RFC, but with a different title: Overview of the IAB
    2000 Wireless Internetworking Workshop. Steve to send announcement.

    9. The IESG had no problem with the publication of A Description of
    the MISTY1 Encryption Algorithm <draft-ohta-misty1desc-02.txt> as
    an Informational RFC. Steve to notify RFC Editor.

    10. The IESG consensus was to recommend against publication of A
    Characters Codes Page for language names
    <draft-tremblay-languages-names-codes-page-00.txt> as an
    Experimental RFC. Steve to convey to RFC Editor.

    11. The IESG agreed to experiment with two pre-IETF meeting
    Internet-Draft cut-off dates: one for initial submissions, and the
    latter one for updates.
