any labelling system would require some sort of classification

a broad "ADV" would not be sufficient because it does not identify what sort
of advertisement was contained

I may not want adverts about womans personal items but I might want an
advert about carpentry tools

so a blanket "adv" would force me to accept all mail and then try to filter
on content as is the status quo
