  Really?  That's not how mailing lists work, so far as I know.

  The *list* re-sends the message to tens of thousands of recipients.
You don't.  Since each recipient has opted-in to the list, this isn't
a problem.

  No.  You match a distinguishing characteristic of spammers.  This
doesn't mean you're a spammer.  It just means that your behavior
overlaps with that of spammers.

  This isn't news.  Everyone uses SMTP to send mail, and so do
spammers.  This doesn't make everyone using SMTP a spammer.

  Spammers have additional distinguishing characteristics which you
don't match.  Ergo, you're not a spammer.

  In other news, is everyone with a tattoo a criminal?  I've seen
"wanted" posters which list "tattos" as "distinguishing
characteristics" of a criminal.
