No, it was a Unix machine of some stripe - it wasn't as early as 1980;
I cited that just as an "it was definitely after this" timestamp. At a
rough guess I'd put it around 1985-1986: after I graduated and started
working full-time, but not much after. Not after 1990, though, as it
was before the move that happened then.
