Sure it is; Panix, for one (except for some virus filtering to keep
the mailservers from melting).  Of course, if you don't use any
filtering, you'd better grab your mail quickly, because you don't get
unlimited disk space.

But Panix is for the clueful; I wouldn't recommend it to my mother,
because she needs a lot more hand-holding than Panix provides.
