[Asrg] Re: Non-filtered ISPs

Please get this through your head, a non-filtered ISP is not going to
be available for under $100 a month.

Sure it is; Panix, for one (except for some virus filtering to keep the mailservers from melting). Of course, if you don't use any

I'm not certain that mine is non-filtered, but my mail account is community run (Hoosiernet - bloomington.in.us). I run procmail, but have been letting almost everything through lately in order to avoid any false positives - I usually just pipe whatever SpamAssasin gives a score higher than 6 to /dev/null, and everything else from 3-6 to a spam folder.

With everything coming through (aside from some content-filtered porn spam, and base-64-encoded EXE files, which still go straight to the bit-bucket), I get around 200-300 messages a day. I've don't think I've gone over my quota, since Pine complains if the box is over quota when it opens it (and MacOSX Mail doesn't seem to want to remove stuff from the POP server lately..)
