Calling someone a liar is not representative of, or conducive to,
professional dialogue.

Telling someone that they are wrong ain their interpretation of what
one meant is hardly unprofessional.

Telling someone that they they are wrong in their use of established
constructs or vocabulary might, itself, be incorrect, but it is hardly
unprofessional.
