Hi!

I wonder if anyone could advice me about any published research papers 
or articles that deals with the following topics:

- How extensive the spam problem is.  Statistics about the volume of 
spam send every day, etc.
- How much are the estimated costs for individuals, companies and society?
- What's the most effective (or widespread) solution to reduce spam so far.
