I agree. Moreover, there is an RFC talking how to select good entropy sources such that the PRN generator is good.

(small embedded devices, such as sensors, can constitute good sources of
 randomness when sampling the temperature, for example - that RFC says).

Maybe it is time for an "Errata" for the RFC?  Of course
it depends on the temperature sensitivity of, say, the
accelerometer or moisture sensor.

And if there are people who are only interested in
solutions utilizing such randomizations, maybe they should
first propose a new look at the entire IPv6 protocol
design for address uniqueness.  Maybe the state of the
are has progressed sufficiently that the previous discussions
have lost some of their validity.

In the meantime, can we go forward here?
