Last friday I've submitted draft-kreuter-avt-rtp-clearmode-02.txt
to internet-drafts@ietf.org. This is still in the queue ...
Basically I removed Nx64 kbit/s from my draft and fixed some typos.
After discussion with A. Vainshtein, one of the author's of
draft-vainshtein-cesopsn-05.txt (PWE3), Tom Johnson, who is
working on a similar topic, and Colin Perkins we agreed that
it makes sense to split the Clearmode handling in two drafts,
where my draft focuses on 1x64 kbit/s and an according MIME
type registration, and the PWE3 draft focuses on Nx64 kbit,
T1/E1 and up for CES services.
So according draft-kreuter-avt-rtp-clearmode-xx.txt, IMHO
the only open item now is the content type. In discussion
is "audio" or "application".
My intention for the IETF presentation is to get an agreement
on that topic, so that this draft can be advanced for IESG
approval.
Regards, Ruediger
