As can be seen in the datatracker 
<https://datatracker.ietf.org/public/pidtracker.cgi?command=view_id&dTag=7379&rfc_flag=0>
AVPF received some comments by the IESG. There has also been further 
comments from Allison that are not shown in the tracker regarding the 
following issues:
- Formulations around using AVPF for congestion control.
- The appropriatness of defining a Generic ACK mechanism for RTP.

These issues shall have been addressed by an update that Joerg has 
submitted, which is expected to become available any day. We chairs hope 
that Joerg will be able to do a shorter presentation of the changes in 
San Diego.

I hope for quick progress with the IESG if the update is okay.
