The reason you got no response is that the questions you are asking
are implementation decisions that you must make for yourself.  The avt
mailing list exists for the purpose of developing the RTP standard and
the profiles and other specifications related to it.  Questions about
these specifications are appropriate.

For further explanation of the protocol and help with the
implementation questions, I suggest the following book:
