Based on the email discussion you can submit this draft as a WG item.

Note that there were some concerns about the relationship between this work and H.264. As you register here a new payload type for this codec addresses the main concern.

I assume you will modify the document based on your editorial note in the introduction.

Hi,

draft-kristensen-avt-rtp-h264-rcdo-00 was presented in the last two IETF meeting (initially as H264 params).

 

The draft describes an RTP Payload format for the Reduced-Complexity Decoding Operation (RCDO) for H.264.  RCDO reduces the decoding cost and resource consumption of the video processing.  The RTP Payload format is based on the description in RFC 3984.

 

Since this is a payload specification and is within the charter of the AVT WG, the chairs propose to accept this draft as an AVT work item. Please send any comments, objections, or statements in favour to the mailing list by 1st of October 2007. If there are no objections, we will ask the authors to submit the next version as an AVT working group draft.
