SMPTE 12M was revised recently; the current document is SMPTE
12M-1-2008.  The fundamental time code representation has not changed,
but extensions have been added to cover 50- 59.94- and 60-fps systems.
12M-1 now incorporates SMPTE RP 159 and RP 164.  SMPTE RP 188 has been
revised and redesignated SMPTE 12M-2-2008.

Please update the references.  Thanks.
