My 2c on this is that I see this list as discussing general DCCP
implementation and comments where the other list (dccp at vger.kernel.org)
is designed to discuss the implementation of DCCP into the production
Linux kernel. It is designed as a list so that netdev at vger.kernel.org
(Linux networking mailing list) doesn't get flooded while our
implementation stabilises.
So I would say discussions around BSD, ethereal, TCP dump etc are better
on the IETF list and only those on our particular code base on the
kernel.org list.
