Hi,
I'm proud to announce that the new Linux 2.6 development tree, that
eventually will be released as the next stable version (2.6.14), now has a
native DCCP stack, thanks to all involved!
For those that can use git, Linus Torvalds's distributed source
control management (he claims its just the "core plumbing" for SCMs 8) )
tool the tree is available at the usual place:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git
Soon there will be git snapshots (patches for 2.6.13) at:
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/snapshots/
This stack is still under development, on a fast pace, and hasn't
support for several important features, such as (pun) feature negotiation
and CCID2, but seems to be solid (no leaks, no crashes, etc) for testing
Linux to Linux DCCP using the CCID3 implementetaion, I'll work hard in the
coming days to implement feature negotiation so as to ease interop tests
with the other DCCP stacks being implemented.
Now lets wait for the horror stories! :-P
