Hi there,

In Linux for C we just use sockets interface at present and I presume
C++ should work as well although I haven't tested.

There are Java bindings and Python bindings being worked on. I would
suggest perusing the archives of the dccp at vger.kernel.org mailing list
to look for these.

If you have specific questions you want to ask about Linux API you can
ask on the above mailing list. I can also send you some very simple
client/server DCCP code that I have written as well if you like.
