[dhcwg] link-local address autoconfiguration question

Hi,
sorry for again posting in DHCP list.
I couldnt figure out from
draft-ietf-zeroconf-ipv4-linklocal-17.txt
the desired behaviour in the following
Situations :
A) a host is using a link-local address
after successful autoconfiguration.
Then it dedects a conflicting arp-probe
And decides to give up the address.
- Should/may/must/mustnot it send an answer to the conflicting
Arp probe ?
B) a host is using a link-local address
after successful autoconfiguration.
It dedects a conflicting arp probe and
Decides to defend the address by sending
An arp anouncement.
Shouldmay/must/mustnot it send an answer to the conflicting probe
In addition to the arp announcement ?
My personal guess to both questions is sending the answer is allowed,
(older implementations will send an anwer too).

The same questions arise, if a conflicting arp
Announcement is seen.

Thanks in advance
    Peter
