Fine. URIs can also be used as protocol elements. What other protocols need to pass around LoST URIs in a generic URI protocol field?


Currently, we are focusing on the emergency services use case and there I haven't seen a place where we have to use the LoST URIs in other protocols.

Btw, the mentioned AAA/AAAS URIs are not used in other protocols either.

If I understood you right then you would like to use a 'host' as is defined in Section 3.2.2 of RFC 3986 with the lost URI scheme.
