Privacy has been a hot topic ever since the early 19th century. Today, the vision of ubiquitous computing, and pervasive environments brings up new challenging problems to be addressed. Privacy issues are some of the main concerns about pervasive computing: the vision of Mark Weiser ultimately can fail without explicit control by the individual what data is disclosed when, how, to whom, and under which constraints. The International Workshop on Privacy in Pervasive Environments aims to discuss problems and possible solutions related to privacy in a globally interconnected society. The workshop is targeted at researchers working on privacy and security for pervasive computing and related areas.

Submission Guidelines
------------------------
Papers submitted to PiPE must not have been accepted for publication elsewhere or be under review for another workshop or conference.
All submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of expression. All submissions must be in English. Submissions should be in PDF format and must not exceed 10 pages in the final camera-ready format.
The final proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag as LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science). Author instructions can be found at:

The paper submission site is located at

Failure to comply with the above formatting instructions for submitted papers will lead to the outright rejection of the paper without review.
Failure to commit to presentation at the conference automatically excludes a paper from the proceedings.
