I agree with the proposed charter item on grounds of flexibility. While 
milestones can be updated fairly easily, as we have seen, the basic text of the 
charter is more difficult to change. It's better to leave room for the 
possibility of cross-SDO effort rather than ignore the issue and have to 
persuade the IESG to let Hokey get involved if a liaison does come.
