   <draft-ietf-smime-rfc3369bis-04.txt> as a Proposed Standard

This document is the product of the S/MIME Mail Security Working Group. 

The IESG contact persons are Steve Bellovin and Russ Housley.

Technical Summary
 This document is a minor update from RFC 3369.  It corrects some errors, and
makes provision for easy addition of new certificate types.
 
Working Group Summary
 
 The changes were uncontroversial.
