Subject: Special issue on driving applications

As I mentioned on the phone, Peter Heinzmann and I are trying
to put together a special issue of Computer Networks and
ISDN Systems aimed at predicting traffic characteristics for
applications which will drive high-speed networking.All
contributions will be reviewed.  Contributions should contain
a description of the application and measured or projected
characteristics of the traffic.

We'll send prospective authors
a list of points which we hope they will cover.
We would be most grateful if you would circulate this request.
