Status of RFCs

Hi folks:

The IAB has asked the IESG to make recommendations about the
status of various old and not so old RFCs. We've consulted with
various people who are responsible for or have used the protocols and
come up with a list of recommendations. We're now circulating
the list of proposed recommendations for comment. The IESG plans
to submit this list to the IAB after the IETF meeting, after which
we expected to find these recommendations enshrined in the next
quarterly release of "IAB OFFICIAL PROTOCOL STANDARDS."

Anyone with comments, concerns, objections, should send them to
the IESG at iesg at nri.reston.va.us.

Thanks!

Craig

RFC1006
