In fact I am somewhat sceptical about using a single routing protocol for two different protocols. This begins to tie together your support for the two protocols. It means that if something changes with one protocol, your change is more likely to impact both. It is not obvious to me that there's much to be saved by putting ISO and IP routes in the same packet, and the implications on system stability may be negative.
