Pardon the interruption, but I am in need of examples of how congestion 
occurs in data networks, and the horrible consequences that result.
Examples of annoying problems of local impact,
as well as full-blown war stories of entire networks grinding to a halt
would all be of interest.
If you know of articles on this subject, or if you
have anecdotes to relate, I would REALLY appreciate knowing about them.
