Date: Sat, 21 Mar 1998 09:50:29 -0800 From: Paul A Vixie <paul at vix.com> I don't read Fleming's posts here or elsewhere any more... You know, if everybody followed Paul's example, the IETF list would be a lot quieter place. Maybe it would help us get more engineering work done. :-) I've been very close to putting Fleming in my "delete before reading" mail filter, especially on days when he sends them in what appears to be an endless stream of e-mail. I tip my hat to him; he either is a much faster typist than I, or he must have a lot more free time than I do, given his ability to compose large numbers of *long* mail messages. Now, if only his messages could have some new content, instead of repeating the same ideas over and over again --- but I suppose that would be asking too much. To those of you who feel compelled to engage Fleming --- rest assured he has stated his position, and has established his credibility (or lack thereof, depending on who you are), that it's really not necessary to respond to his posts anymore. I have already come to the personal decision to discount everything he says, and I came to that conclusion a long time ago. I suspect, furthermore, that I am not alone. - Ted
Note Well: Messages sent to this mailing list are the opinions of the senders and do not imply endorsement by the IETF.
