Re: FW: APNIC's Censorship (Was: Re: Removal from APNIC lists)

I simply fail to believe that you, or anyone else who meets your "clueful"
criteria is incapable of applying their own filters to prevent Mr.
Fleming, or anyone else, from taking up their time UNLESS THEY WANT TO.

Perhaps you skipped over a clip in my original message, which I consider quite
important, which I here reproduce:

    > Further, the people most susceptible to Flemings lies, red herrings,

I certainly subscribe to this view, and I expect a lot of other people do too.

Now, if you're in a public oversight capacity, there's a second problem -
you probably have a *duty* to at least read this kind of material, even if
    you do nothing with it.

Perhaps - but that has nothing to do with that I'm concerned about, which
David has very ably stated above.

think for a minute about what happens if Mr. Fleming is actually right

Oh, good grief, Karl - can I sell you a meteor helmet, too?

There are enough intelligent people out there that the chances that Fleming
has stumbled across something that everyone else has missed are somewhat
smaller than your getting hit on the head with the aforementioned meteor.

And before you say it, this is nothing like Hobson and Baker ignoring
Ramanujan's letter: I *have* read quite a few of Fleming's contributions.
Which is how I have reached the conclusion immediately above.
