The IESG has received a request from the Public-Key Infrastructure
(X.509) Working Group to consider the following two Internet-Drafts for
publication as Proposed Standards:

 o Internet X.509 Public Key Infrastructure Certificate Management
   Protocols
	<draft-ietf-pkix-ipki3cmp-08.txt>

 o Internet X.509 Certificate Request Message Format
	<draft-ietf-pkix-crmf-01.txt> 

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action.  Please send any comments to the 
iesg at ietf.org or ietf at ietf.org mailing lists by July 21, 1998.
