For several years, I have given a four-week course on Internet application layer protocols and standards at Stockholm University and KTH Technical University. At URL http://www.dsv.su.se/~jpalme/internet-course/internet-standards-exams.html you can find a collection of all exam questions given in this course with what I believe to be correct answers to the questions. You can use this collection to test your knowledge of Internet standards. Note that the students were allowed to bring copies of all the RFCs and similar documents with standards specifications to the exam, so you should allow yourself to look in these documents when you try to answer the exam questions. If any of my suggested correct replies to the questions is not correct, please tell me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jacob Palme <jpalme at dsv.su.se> (Stockholm University and KTH) for more info see URL: http://www.dsv.su.se/~jpalme Temporary summer phone No. +46-8-664 77 48 not +46-8-16 16 67
