Last Call: Domain Name System Security Extensions to Proposed Standard



The IESG has received a request from the Domain Name System Security
Working Group to consider publication of the following documents as
Proposed Standards:

 o Domain Name System Security Extensions
	<draft-ietf-dnssec-secext2-05.txt>
 o DSA KEYs and SIGs in the Domain Name System
	<draft-ietf-dnssec-dss-02.txt>
 o RSA/MD5 KEYs and SIGs in the Domain Name System (DNS) 
	<draft-ietf-dnssec-rsa-00.txt> 
 o Storing Certificates in the Domain Name System (DNS) 
	<draft-ietf-dnssec-certs-02.txt> 
 o Storage of Diffie-Hellman Keys in the Domain Name System (DNS)
	<draft-ietf-dnssec-dhk-02.txt>


The IESG will also consider publication of the following as
Experimental:

 o Indirect KEY RRs in the Domain Name System 
	<draft-ietf-dnssec-indirect-key-01.txt> 
 o Detached Domain Name System (DNS) Information
	<draft-ietf-dnssec-ddi-05.txt>

and the publication of DNS Operational Security Considerations <draft-ietf-dnssec-secops-01.txt> as an Informational document.


The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action.  Please send any comments to the 
iesg at ietf.org or ietf at ietf.org mailing lists by July 31, 1998.
