This memo defines an experimental portion of the Management Information
Base (MIB) for use with network management protocols in the Internet
community.  In particular, it describes managed objects used for
managing tunnels of any type in IP networks, including GRE [16,17], IP-
in-IP [18], Minimal Encapsulation [19], L2TP [20], L2F [25], and PPTP
[21] tunnels.  Extension MIBs (e.g., [22]) may be designed for managing
protocol-specific objects.
