Sam, thank you for your calm remarks. After spending a week thinking about this suspension, I have decided to withdraw my appeal, even though I still believe it was an unjust decision. The appeal is too distracting for the Atompub WG, who are supposed to be getting work done right now. I am skeptical that Atompub will get any work done, since I believe they have inaccurately identified the cause of their problems, but I wish them luck with the text I wrote for them.
IESG members, please consider the appeal withdrawn.

We have an appeals process for good reasons, and you should certainly not apologize for starting to use it.
