Well, http://pingsta.com/terms.php was written by a lawyer (so I can't claim to understand it), but the gist is that you give Pingsta the rights to everything you put in there but are not allowed to make anything in there available in the open ("derivative works").

They clearly haven't arrived in Web 2.0 yet.
(Also they program in PHP, if that tells you anything about them.)

Avoid.
