Network Algorithms and Performance Evaluation Symposium
********************************************************

Network algorithms are crucial components of computer networks. The
design of network algorithms has fundamental implications on usability,
efficiency, robustness, and security of the resulting networking
system. At the same time, analytical, measurement, and simulation based
evaluations play a vital role in understanding the behavior,
performance, and systematic development of large-scale computer
networks.

This symposium invites original papers on recent advances in network
algorithms and performance evaluation. It aims to foster interaction and
exchange new ideas by bringing together researchers and practitioners
interested in network algorithms and performance evaluation. The
technical program of the symposium consists of regular papers and
posters. We solicit original and unpublished research work in various
aspects of network algorithms and performance evaluation, including, but
not limited to, the following topics:

* Routing algorithms
* Packet classification algorithms
* Packet scheduling and buffer management
* IP address lookup algorithms
* Novel router/switch architecture
* Congestion control algorithms
* Admission control algorithms
* Quality of Services
* Peer-to-peer and overlay networks
* Metropolitan area networks
* Network processors
* Implementation and evaluation of real networking systems
* Network management
* Analytical, measurement, and simulation techniques
* Traffic modeling, engineering, and control
* Network measurement and characterization
* Measurement tools
* Network reliability, dependability, and security
* Secure network protocol design
