Depends on whether you consider people who [try to] practise cashing off
on standards saying "no, don't change status quo, there is no problem at
all [I like my money well enough!]" -- and considering these people
inpartial -- a problem or not.
Same with Keith's question at the IESG plenary last night. What use is it
to ask whether people are advocating their employer's interests (to
smaller or lesser degree)? Do you _really_ believe people violating the
process would say so (or in some cases, admit it even to themselves!)?
