Not surprising, since there is no simple reply. But there is,
as the FAQ tells you, a slightly more complex reply:
1. You can embed and modify code from RFCs in software
(FAQ #6 and #7).
2. If you put such software under an OS license, the Trust
will not bother you (FAQ #9). (But, we can never say what
the original author might do.)
I realise it's the last parenthesis that might be troublesome.
But we can't give rights that we don't own.
