New EU Anti-Copyright Violation Rule info...

The European Commission charged the International Confederation of Societies 
of Authors and Composers (CISAC) in February 2006 with imposing 
anticompetitive territorial restrictions on authors and composers.

Seems to me that the IETF should say something about its ideas regarding 
'controlling the IP it produces and those protocols it allows to operate on 
the Internet by either including them or excluding them from the IETF's 
standards process'...
