If I understand correctly, the draft
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-iptel-trunk-group-00.
seems to attempt to define a mechanism to send a trunk group rather
standardizing trunk groups.
So, should (no pun intended ;-) we leave the change from MUST to SHOULD
for the future since there's no guarantee that there will be
standardized trunk group names?
What do you think? Please don't get me wrong. I am open to either way.
Anyone else have input on this?
I would sleep better knowing that the strength is a SHOULD. MUST
basically makes it impossible to send out the TrunkGroup
attribute between ITADs. Since trunk groups are fairly static and
can aid in routing between ITADs, I would just as soon make it a
SHOULD strength.
