[Isms] Charter proposal
Hi,
As Uri pointed out today, we have not determined whether our approach
going forward should establish a "session" to amortize the security
overhead across multiple SNMP messages. Is that something we should be
planning on when writing the SSH proposal and updating the TMSM
document? (yeah, I know we haven't agreed on the charter yet, but
should we be addressing this issue in the proposals being prepared?)
Is anybody willing to contribute some text about how the session
concept will fit within a TMSM environment, and how that fits within
the SNMPv3 architecture so a session-based security model can coexist
with non-session security models, such as USM?
