The operators I know quite well how to use SSHs user at host notation and
only few worry about SNMP's _an_ architecture.

If it is not possible to sort this out by Monday, I expect that this
will be resolved via email between the ID cutoff and the IETF meeting.
This WG has a tendency to defer things to the next IETF meeting and
during the WG meeting people figure out that working on the details of
the text in the documents is too difficult and should be done after
the IETF meeting. We need to break this cycle. The ID repository
opens up again when the IETF meeting starts and I like to have
documents posted at that time latest that have all technical issues
resolved (and so far it seems the user at host notation is the only thing
left).
