Is it going to: become a standard,

Drafts which have someone's name as the second element are individual contributions. Drafts which have been accepted by a working group have "ietf" as the second element, and the working group name as the third element. In our case, they start with "draft-ietf-lemonade-".

The authors of the P-IMAP draft are active participants in the group, and are the authors of several working group documents.

The process of the IETF is based on drafts. People write drafts as individuals to make proposals, to critique proposals, to offer information. Often, specific parts of these drafts make it in to working group drafts. Working group drafts progress through revisions based on comments.

is it going to become a separate WG in IETF, etc -

I have not seen any suggestions to form a new working group for P-IMAP. -- Randall Gellens Opinions are personal; facts are suspect; I speak for myself only -------------- Randomly-selected tag: --------------- Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity. --Martin Luther King, Jr.
