Yes, perhaps. But for the initial registry it makes eminent sense to be conservative in what we enter. There is a registration process that allows these updates and it should be used for this. The Suppress-Script field is informative. There exist cases in which one will wish to ignore it and use the script anyway (the document says so!) and users are cautioned to avoid the script subtag (as with any subtag) when it adds no identifying information. Presumably 'Latn' adds no identifying information to most 'frm' documents. This is the reason (he says, treading his sour grapes once again) why I supported documenting the other side of the equation (when script is recommended). A comprehensive and error free list will be much easier to maintain and implement for that, I think. (But time to move on from that argument; I lost that one.) Addison Addison P.
