While they're at it whois.iana.org should be integrated into
WDPRS, there are many bogus whois servers and broken URLs in
their data.  Or at least that was the case some months ago.

Registry is registry, when I read "better forms" I thought it
could be an improved version of:

http://www.iana.org/protocols/forms.htm

 From my POV it's related, I'm here because I didn't like what
the pre-LTRU draft said about country codes, and that's because
of my whois client with TLDs including ccTLDs.  "Ask IANA" was
about the first thing it got right (after "ask abuse.net").
