I have successfully imported the registry into MS Access using both XML files and they work very well. Couple of slight errors: 1. Variant Table: Record 'baku1926': The comment field is more than 255 characters and thus is truncated. This could be overcome by setting the field type to memo but on import XML is automatically setting the filed type to Text. Just a minor glitch. 2. In LSR-2.xml Most (not all) of the fields seem to have a preceding space for some reason which will make it difficult to create search routines. I won't bother the list with further discussion on this. If you would like me to test any further updates let me know. best regards Debbie > -----Original Message----- > From: Stephane Bortzmeyer [mailto:bortzmeyer at nic.fr] > Sent: 13 May 2008 13:57 > To: Debbie Garside > Cc: 'LTRU Working Group' > Subject: Re: Record-Jar Format (was RE: I'm really confused > by chinese in 3066bis) > > On Mon, May 12, 2008 at 11:19:51AM +0100, Debbie Garside > <debbie at ictmarketing.co.uk> wrote a message of 279 lines which said: > > > Frank and I did some work on this many moons ago and we > were about 99% > > of the way there - this needs to be completed and made publicly > > available. > > As noted by Doug, this is already publicly available: > > http://www.langtag.net/registries.html > > Advices on the best process to debug, improve, extend, etc, > this work are welcome.
