[manet] hi everybody i have some queries

hi everybody,

i am a newcomer and an amateur in the field. i think
there are a lot of people here to help me out as i am
doing my final thesis work in  my masters program in
the field of MANETs.

i have decided to do simulation of manets and 
discussing some security issues in these ad hoc
networks.

i would like to know using which tool can we simulate
MANET . i have decided to use Net Cracker Professional
whether can i use this tool to simulate MANET. since i
am not well versed in NetCracker PRof
i am sure about this. so will anyone please let me
know about this..

i would be really grateful to everyone if they could
helpme out.
