[manet] Switching time of the transeiver

Hi all,

 

I am currently studying on the multi-channel MAC protocols with only one transceiver. I have a question about the time scale of switching a transceiver (including transmission and receive) from one channel to another channel. Does the switching time closely depend on the circuit characteristics? How much is the typical switching time when conducting simulations? Any help would be appreciated.
