Again, without studying it, what I would recommend
is to take the regexp that is the formal definition,
and break what you have down to match the elements
in the regexp.

As a starting exercise, take the example packet in
Appendix B and do that to that. (You should actually
be able to do it without reading the text before the
example.) Hopefully you'll find it can be so decomposed.
