It seems we all agree on recommending usage of link metrics.
This is great.

We can have endless discussions on what researchers will do.
But IETF has little influence here.
I think we shall focus on implementations for real users.
We define practical and interoperable protocols.

I'm looking forward to the updated OLSRv2 draft, which includes metrics.
